FlashPoint

Flashpoint from Sausage Software was the first true WYSIWYG Flash creation tool. Flashpoint offers drag and drop/cut and paste functionality, together with the ability to create presentations with streaming audio for playback over the Web or directly from your PC, laptop or hand-held.

The output format is standard HTML and Flash. FlashPoint has cross-platform compatibility, meaning that anyone with the Flash player installed can view it.

Using a simple drag and drop interface, you can assemble your presentation in “pages”, just as you would with a word processor. Drag in images (PNG, JPEG or GIF), mp3 sound files, create formatted text and basic shapes.

You can specify animations for each element on the page, as well as a page transition for both entrance and exit (think PowerPoint). Then click the “publish” button to package your presentation in a format that can be viewed in virtually any modern web browser.

When creating multi-page presentations, Flashpoint creates the navigation buttons automatically for you. You don’t have to mess around with timelines, layers or scripting, as Flashpoint is specifically designed for creating multi-page presentations commonly used in electronic sales brochures and catalogues, splash screens, slideshows and student projects.
